COLOUR CLIENT NOTICE

Attention ALL hair colour folk!!

Yeah you! Rae requires your undevided attention...

As you all know and are in good practice by now, we have had to ask you all back in for a colour patch tests regarding vaccinations/home colours\covid19/boosters since the recent pandemic began.

Apologies to those of you who are reading this update and eye rolling, we are sharing this information again because a lot of colour appointments are having to be sent away again due to not reading the information properly, or missing the email/text link on your appointment reminders before arrival of a colour appointment, which as you can imagine, isn't great for you guys, but also for us with how we run the days.

We are still seeing a notable amount of you have reactions to skin tests over these past couple of weeks, and the common link with those of you who have had a vaccination, or booster jab. Obviously this is good that it was a skin test and not a whole head of colour, which is why we need your attention once more on this subject.

Due the big changes everyone's bodies are going through who have had a vaccination or booster, it is sadly causing your immune system to see colour as a threat whilst it is settling in to our bodies.

For this reason, we are asking you to please come forward for an additional skin test if:

⚠️ You have had your 1st/2nd vaccination or a booster jab since your skin test, but before your colour appointment.

⚠️ You have had your 1st/2nd vaccination or a booster jab in between your last colour appointment.

If you fall in to ANY of these categories, we DO need to re-skin test you, again!

This will prevent any health & safety risk to yourself, and prevent any negligence on our part.

We also need to keep you guys safe by you not having your skin test done too closely to your vaccination/booster too, as you are more likely to react if done too close together.

We are asking you to leave at least 5 DAYS between your booster or vaccination, and your skin test.

If you can please check when your are next in for your colour, and if this affects you, give us a tinkle and we'll book your skin test in for you before we close for the Christmas period.

Please help us be the best we can be. We know it's annoying (trust us!), but your safety is our top priority.
