Once again we come at you with some House of Quirk changes in regards to the governments update last Thursday. These tweaks shouldn't bring a huge change of feel to your normal appointment but are worth noting.
First, we would like to explain what is driving our changes. During the pandemic, there have been many points of view on the risks posed and where these risks lay, be it physical health, mental health or the economy. Trying to keep functioning while making people feel safe but also providing a high end salon experience has been the hardest part about all of this for us.
As we move forward, we will be trying to focus on the psychological safety of individuals in the House while still keeping the salon practically safe as we move closer to normality.
With all this in mind, let us begin.....
MASKS
We will now move to the mirror system (see what we did here). This means if you arrive wearing a mask, your stylist and assistants will be wearing a mask. If you don't wear a mask, your stylist might not wear one.
If any of our team have symptoms of illness, they will be asked to wear a mask even if they test negative, we would appreciate it if you could too.
Our team may feel more comfortable in a mask, if this is the case please try not to pressure them or ask them why they are still wearing one. Everyone has their own pace and needs to feel comfortable.
The beauty of this system is no words need to be said, just turn up in your mask and we will have ours on. Don't be scared if you see the odd quirky face around from now on though.
P.S Super hero masks are still allowed.
POSITIVE CASES
We have gotten quite lucky on this front over the years. As it has been rare, we will be judging each case as it happens, but as it stands we will require our team stay home with a positive Covid 19 case due to us being a close contact profession.
If you test positive yourself, we would still appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible so we can get you rearranged swiftly.
SANITISING
As ever, our cleaning standards will be high and hand sanitiser will be available all around the salon. Even if you are disease free, it's a nice way to keep fresh and fancy.
