As we aren't able to catch up with you all as normal with your visits to the House, we thought it would be nice to have a little update with each Quirk member to you all, with a note about how lockdown is going for them so far! So here goes..
First up, here's our Hannah 💙
"Being in lockdown hasn’t done any favours for my bank account! I thought I might of saved some money, but I’ve done more shopping than I would’ve done if I was allowed out! I hope everyone is ok and keeping themselves busy, and hopefully it won’t be too long until we’re all back in the salon to sort you guys out! Xx
Oh dear! Who else can relate?! Above is a picture of Hannahs beloved deliveries.
Next, our super smiley Edwin!
"Hi! So I’ve been playing a lot of my PlayStation trying to keep myself sane, with a mixture of Fifa and Fortnite ahaha! I’ve also started this great series on Netflix called Ozark, it’s so so good.. Not as good as The Tiger King though! You guys should definitely give it a try if you haven’t already 😁
I’ve been on a few walks to Marbury Park, it’s quite peaceful there and its good to get some fresh air".

Well, the debate begins.. Tiger King Vs. Ozark..? Go!
Now, our bubbly Aimee!
"I have lost my mind over ticktock.. I have been singing to the dog! And also practicing different make up looks. Keep safe & be strong 💪 xx"
Anyone else been playing karaoke with their pet(s)?! Above is one of Aimee's makeup looks.
Our alligator lover, Tash!
"Hey guys! Ive been going for runs, until I sprained my ankle! Plus I have a confession.. I've been playing Mario Kart way too much!
To keep busy I've been painting pretty pictures and also petting my pet alligator...
I hope everyone is well and healthy, and I really cant wait to get back in to the salon and see you all once its safe and back to some sort of normal!
See you soon!" Anyone else have a pet alligator they love to pet and take on long walks? Above is a picture of Tash's alligator.
We have saved your favourite face of the House until last... The Moth!
"Hello from the M.O.T.H.
Lockdown is fairly boring isn't it? But they say a bored person, is a boring person, so I've done my best to keep busy and have also tried to educate myself as well... I have educated myself about pirates having watched 5 Pirates of the Caribbean films, what I've learnt is, 4 of them are dreadful. Shame.
Some of you may not know, but I am somewhat of a 'gamer' and have hit nearly 80 hours on 'Assassin's Creed Odyssey' a game set in ancient Greek about the war between the Spartans and the Athenians.... told you... education! But I've also realised a day or 2 in front of the TV gives me headaches that are close to migraines, so to combat this, I've turned the TV off... seems to work.
Musically, I've listened to some albums that are new to me that I perhaps should have been aware of. The music of Kate Bush has been in heavy rotation as I have never really listened to her offerings, I recommend the 1985 album 'Hounds of Love'. Also the new album by Lukas Nelson (son of Willie) is fairly enjoyable if you are into some country!
Aside from listening to music, watching films and playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey I've mainly been queuing up to get into Asda or Sainsbury's which is time I use for quiet reflection.
I've bought a couple of bits and pieces, (apart from food once I've successfully queued at a supermarket) a new TV, (Tom made me do it) and a Remote controlled astro mech droid from Star Wars named R2Q5 (pictured). Much fun!
As you can see, my days are hectic... One asks, how did you have time for work... believe me, I have the time. Please... I have the time".
Did nobody tell the MOTH that too much TV can give you square eyes?! Joke's aside, good album recommendation there for Kate Bush, pop the gal on with a descent cuppa and enjoy some sunshine. Above is where you will find a picture of the Moth's R2Q5.
We hope you are all getting a healthy fix of all your favourite tv programmes and getting some fresh air here and there (in a safe way of course).
We shall keep you in the loop with what's happenning when we know more!
Stay Sane!
