QUIRK UPDATE

Back in December, we shared Rae’s entry for Davines’ Talent GreenHouse hair competition, a look she named 'Gilded Perimeter'.

Some of you may have seen it, others not, but now that the results are in, we wanted to give an update!

A few words from Rae:

“Although I didn’t make it through this time, I’m still really proud of this look and for stepping back into the world of hair competitions after such a long pause! A huge thank you again to my model, Sam - for his patience, openness, and creativity throughout the shoot. He was an absolute breeze to collaborate with, and I’m so glad I 'Stalked' him out on Instagram, and that he trusted me to bring this idea to life!

As part of the competition, I had to create a concept that describes my work, execute it, and share a completely unedited photo online. Now that the entry is finished, I’m so happy to finally release the edited version, along with a few others from that day!

I haven’t photoshopped anything, just played with the lighting to really show the texture, movement, and detail I worked so carefully to create.”
