THE STAGE WAS LEFT ON FIRE!
…Figuratively, don’t worry!
Our Summer Social was a full-blown, music fuelled, joy packed, heartwarming success! We were sold out before doors even opened, and started the day with money already raised for the British Liver Trust – and it only got better from there.
Our Wheel of Fun was spun SO many times – with little prizes, big prizes, and a few ridiculous ones (we're still wondering just how many jokes Andy had to tell in total... answers on a postcard please). It raised £165 on its own – all in £5 spins and a whole lot of excitement!
From start to finish, the room was buzzing full of laughter, kindness and electric energy.
The HQ Boys kicked things off with all the charisma and charm we missed so much – their set was a brilliant mix of originals and cheeky covers. Great to see the lads back where they belong, on stage!
Then… Amy Antrobus absolutely blew the room away. Her powerful voice, soulful vintage guitar, passion driven playing and effortless stage presence left us all in awe. The room didn’t just fall in love with her music – we fell for her and the beautiful energy she brought with her.
Disco in Sochi… WHAT. A. SHOW.
From the very first note they catapulted us into Disco Town and didn’t let go. Big vocals, shredding guitar riffs, relentless rhythm, and more personality than some can handle! Alex & Rory gave everything to that stage (and the floor!), and the crowd! – an unforgettable set that had every single person dancing from start to finish. These two are an unmissable live experience – you need to catch them in action again ASAP!
AND THEN CAME… TOMMY.
Tom’s dad, the infamous karaoke enthusiast. A deal was made: if he could raise £100 throughout the day drawing from his background in sales, he’d take the mic to close the show. Guess what? The man raised £114... So, we all got treated (?) to a passionate, truly unforgettable rendition of House of the Rising Sun. Were the notes right? No. Were the words right? No. Was the timing right? No. Was the crowd stunned? Absolutely. Did we love every chaotic second? You bet we did!
And the best bit?
Together, YOU helped us raise a total of £1004 for the British Liver Trust! 🎉
We’re absolutely thrilled, grateful, and still riding high from the love and energy you brought to the event!
🌟 Thank you to every single person who came, danced, and donated.
🌟 Thank you to our generous prize donors.
🌟 Thank you to our incredible artists – The HQ Boys, Amy Antrobus, and Disco in Sochi – for sharing your time and your passion with everyone!
🌟 And thank you for helping us make something truly special.
Until next time – stay kind, and keep dancing! 💛
