A note on our Kids' Pricing - effective 1st April

As part of our annual pricing review, we've taken the opportunity to revisit our kids age bracket. From the 1st of April, our children's pricing applies to ages 10 and under (previously 12 and under).

Let us explain…

Something has happened to 11 and 12 year olds.

We're not sure exactly when it happened. One day they were asking for a tidy-up. The next, they were arriving with a carefully curated mood board, a specific reference from a K-pop band or a hair picture of an anime dragon. We respect this deeply.

The wolf cuts, the octopus cuts, the hardcore mullets with micro fringes. These are real hairstyles requiring real time and unfortunately cannot be achieved with a 30 min dry cut.

At the moment, these cuts are regularly being booked in as 30minute dry trims due to the stated age bracket. This is leading to regular disappointment, hence the needed change.

So from April, 11s and 12s will be booked as adults for a full cut and finish, with student discount (20%) available Tuesday to Friday.

And for our younger clients with big ideas?

If your nine-year-old has caught the bug, which is also common, and wants something a little more adventurous than a standard trim, we'll book them in for a full wash and cut too, with student discount available Tuesday to Friday.

The children's price remains for ages 10 and under if coming in for a straight forward trim. The moment a mood board appears, all bets are off..

We love that kids are coming in excited about their hair. We just need a little more time to do it justice for them.
